Jesse Carillo kicked off Scoop Creative Co. in March 2023, and he's been living and breathing video since he was a kid. Growing up in California, his dad was both a high school film teacher and ran his own video business—so you could say filmmaking is in Jesse's DNA.

After spending years working with non-profits, Jesse honed his skills in communications, marketing, and, of course, videography. But he didn’t just fall in love with the craft; he saw the real power a great story could have on a community. That sparked an idea: why not create a company dedicated to helping organizations tell their own incredible stories?

So that's exactly what he did. Scoop Creative Co. is all about getting to the heart of what makes an organization special and shouting it from the rooftops—or at least amplifying it through top-notch video. Jesse wants his company to be more than just another production house; he’s on a mission to make a genuine impact, both on individual organizations and the communities they serve.

In a nutshell, Jesse and his team at Scoop Creative Co. are reshaping what it means to be a storytelling agency in the digital age, combining technical know-how with a real passion for making a difference.

Jesse also co-founded the Springs Videographer Co-op (SVC). Which has established a dynamic hub for videographers in the Colorado Springs region. SVC functions as a collaborative space where local videographers can access shared resources, engage in constructive feedback sessions, and benefit from collective expertise. This cooperative environment fosters professional growth and community engagement among Colorado Springs videographers.
